It's possible that a lead or set of leads in your FranFunnel account read something like this:
- null null
- null Jones
- Robert null
Each of these is an example of FranFunnel assigning a value to a field when it can not otherwise determine what the value should be. You find this most frequently when it comes to first and last names.
If you see a "null" it either means that there was an error grabbing the data out of the lead delivery or simply that the lead didn't provide this information.
For every other data field in FranFunnel except for names if there’s an error parsing the data, we simply omit it from the lead record.
However, since names are so important, if there’s an error parsing one or both of the names, you’ll simply see us replace the name with null. That means that if we can’t parse the first name or last name, then it will read null null.
If you see more than one or two nulls, you should contact FranFunnel support as this is an indication that something is not functioning correctly.
