If you click on a lead and see an e-mail that is red, then it likely also has the words “Message was undeliverable”
There are several reasons that an e-mail may be undeliverable. Some of the more common ones include:
- The lead’s e-mail account doesn’t exist
- The lead’s e-mail inbox blocked our attempt to send the e-mail
- Our e-mail servers detected that it was an unnecessary risk to send the e-mail opting instead to protect your sender reputation
If you see an occasional e-mail that’s undeliverable, that’s the desired outcome. It means that our system is being diligent is how we use e-mail. If you see a considerable number or majority of e-mails marked as “undeliverable” then please let us know as that likely signifies an error somewhere.
The important thing to remember is that that specific lead did not receive an e-mail from FranFunnel. If you want to communicate with them via e-mail, you’ll need to do it via your standard e-mail account rather than relying on our automation.
